| Jedicat Cattery is a CFA registered breeder specializing in Siamese and Colorpoint Shorthair cats located in the Kansas City, MO . I have been breeding for over 10 years and strive to create a healthy and prosperous cat. I am active in showing my animals in the Cat Fanciers Association and have had many Regional winners as well as National Breed winners. I can be seen all over the country at various shows throughout the season, showcasing my exceptional animals. Everyone recognizes a Siamese cat with the traditional four colors (Seal, Chocolate, Blue, Lilac), but what may you ask is a Colorpoint Shorthair? As I like to say, a Colorpoint Shorthair is a Siamese with designer colors and/or patterns. So, for each of the traditional colors, you can add lynx markings, red and tortie colors or any combination (eg. Seal Lynx Point, Seal Tortie Point, etc.) Everything about these wonderful animals is similar to the Siamese. For those of you that may not be familiar with these breeds they are known for its friendly, sociable, and affectionate nature. These cats tend to be loving and trusting towards people, and they will often bond especially strongly with one person. They are playful and intelligent, needing lots of interaction to keep them entertained. They are also a very talkative breed. When they want something or perhaps just want to hear themselves talk you will hear their very distinctive call.
